The Japanese and the Taxi Driver
One day one Japanese come to visit Sabah. After he arrives at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA), he takes taxi and asks the taxi driver to bring him around the Kota Kinabalu city.
In the taxi, he asks the driver.
“wah your airport look very big, how many year its build?”
The driver feel vary proud and say
“Oh thank you, it takes about 5 year to build”
“Oh in my country, its only takes 4 years to build building like this” reply the Japanese with proud voice.
The driver feels shame and impressive with the Japanese. When they pass Centre Point, the Japanese say
“What a beautiful building, how many years it builds?”
“It’s about 4 years” the taxi driver said.
“Oh in my country it only takes about 3 year to build” reply the Japanese.
The taxi driver feels bad. When they pass Wisma Merdeka, the Japanese say
“Nice building, how many years it builds?”
“3 years” say the taxi driver.
“Oh in my country its only take about 2 years” the Japanese reply.
The driver feels angry. When they pass Tun Mustapha Tower the Japanese ask again
“Wah!! Unique building, how many years its build?”
The taxi driver reply with anger but slow voice
“Oh I don’t know…because this building not there when I pass this road in this morning”
“Hah???@#*&%” the Japanese shock and speechless.
